Check Up

I took Ava to the doctor today to have them check her out because she has had a horrible cough for about a week now. The doctor said that she has thrush and needs breathing treatments! I gave her the first treatment today and I had no idea what I was doing! I was trying to keep it in her mouth so she could get the whole dose and she was flipping out! I finally called a friend who let me know that I could just put it in front of her face and she would be fine. I wish I had thought of that before I did it. Oh well. So my poor baby can't breath and I am making it worse by giving her gross medicine. I just hope she gets better soon. We are blessing her in church on Sunday, I am really excited.

Drawing Time!

Morgan decided to take advantage of the fact that I had fallen asleep on the couch for a few minutes with Ava today. When I got up and went to check on him I discovered that he was coloring with a black permanent marker onto some paper but not before he had decided to decorate his face!



So of course he has to go into time out and he was not exactly happy.



So we had fun today!

4 Weeks!

It has already been 4 weeks! I can hardly believe how much she has grown. Although she is just starting to fit into 0-3 month clothing. She loves to be held which is a bit of a problem because I only have two arms and when I am holding her the boys want to be on my lap too. They love their sister though. Derek loves to give her kisses and Morgan wants to hold her all the time. We are definately enjoying having a girl. Phil I'm sure loves all the pinks and purples!
