Making Pancakes!

I found this pic of Morgan that I forgot to post awhile back. He has seen me make pancakes before but while I was in the bathroom apparently he got hungry and wanted to make them all by himself. The only thing he forgot was the bowl!

Lately Morgan gets really excited about having friends. Especially when he comes to me and says - "Mommy you my friend"! I love it! He is so cute! Now he is getting excited about his birthday coming up and the cake he will be eating and all his friends that are coming! Kids grow up so fast!

Flea Market Find

We all got up quite early this past Saturday (5:45am) and headed off to the Mile Hi Flea Market north of Denver. It opened at 7 but due to unexpected diaper changes and so forth we ended up getting there around 9am. It was quite cold so we were all bundled up. Sorry, no pics of that. It warmed up very fast. We wandered through some of the more permanent shops but there weren't that many open. By 10, EVERYBODY was open. There was a Farmer's Market with all sorts of delicious fruits and veggies, there were several places selling Steamed Chili peppers, they smelled very good but I am quite sure they were very HOT! We got some Kettle corn, Yummy! Phil got some tools that were hard to pass up and I found a really cute telephone table for $25! That is the only picture I got of our outing!



Consider this the before picture. I bought some really pretty fabric and chair cushion to redo the seat. I was about to take more pics when my camera batteries died so you will have to wait in anticipation for the after picture. Which you won't be seeing until after we move back to Missouri!

I think we are going back to the flea market this Saturday, so I will take more pictures.

Before and After!

I found a tutorial on how to make a sofa cover using two King size sheets. I didn't really follow the instructions. I just read them and then did my own thing. Here are pics of my couch:

I will admit that a store bought couch cover looks much better but atleast I tried it out. If you would like to try it out yourself go HERE

Phil has been working on this for quite awhile. Apparently you can't just buy one so he made one. This is a Battery discharger for his dewalt batteries.

The volt meter tells Phil when the battery has been fully discharged.
