TTA - Professional Help

For What activity would you want professional help?

dead plant

Well...I need professional help for everything. But if I have to choose i think it would be Gardening/Landscaping. I can't keep anything alive! The only flowers in my yard are the kind that come back every year and could survive a hurricane. I am surprised I haven't killed them yet!

Pelicans on the Mississippi

Phil, Mom, Beth, Jeremy and I went to the temple in Nauvoo this past Saturday and on our way home we saw tons of Pelicans floating on the Mississippi. It was awesome. Enjoy the pictures.

TTA - Livin' on the edge

If you could do something just once, what would you do?

living on the edge

Well, I don't consider myself a livin' on the edge sort of person. I am by no means a very cautious person though. Atleast I don't think I am. The most I have lived on the edge so far has been done at World's of Fun here in Kansas City.

But if I were to do something really edgy it would have to be something like driving in the Indy 500, going way too fast and barely escaping an accident. Or maybe swimming with sharks without any protective gear.

I might even feel really adventurous and make a trip to the north pole.

The possibilities are endless....if I didn't have to worry about being squished between race cars, eaten by sharks or freezing to death before I even get to Canada! That's what I would do.

Ava's Blessing Day

This is our little family. Derek obviously wasn't really thrilled about getting his picture taken.

I decided I needed to put up a picture of me. So here I am holding my precious daughter.

Ava stared at Jonah quite awhile before finding the window. She loved looking at him. I think she just couldn't get past those ginormous side burns! lol!

It wouldn't be a family gathering without some humor and teasing. So here is Josiah, Jonah and Morgan having a good time.

TTA - Made by hand

Recently my Husband and I were blessed with the most precious made by hand ever! Our baby girl Ava. She is 6 weeks old and this last Sunday she was blessed. My mother has made all of my childrens blesssing gowns and we will keep them forever.

The first one was for our son Morgan. It was made out of my wedding dress fabric and the vest matches my husbands vest that he wore for our wedding. The second one is for Derek. I love the little bow tie! The third one was for Ava. My mom had to make it out of a 21" doll pattern because she is still so tiny. The head band she is wearing is one that I made up the pattern for and crocheted last night.

This is a filet crochet piece that I designed and made for my brother and his wife for Christmas. I have yet to give it to them. Sorry Bub!

This is my first TTA post and I am glad to be a part of it. Thanks.
