Snow Day!

All dressed up to go out in the snow! This was Ava's first time really playing in the snow!
She didn't really play though. Mostly sat in the snow eating it because it was too deep!

Here is a horrible belly picture! Kizzie requested it so here it is!

Mommy and Ava at the top of the tallest slide at the park! This one made me sick. I do not recommend going down any slide while pregnant! Afterwards though Ava went down all by herself!

These are the Buzz Lightyear pajamas that Derek got for his birthday! He loves them so much that he wore them all the next day and cried forever when I told him they needed to be washed! He also got a pair of Woody pajamas but they are not as exciting. He is going to wear them as his Halloween costume to the Ward activity on Saturday!

32 Week ultrasound pictures!

So I went in for my 32 week appointment and the office had recieved a new ultrasound machine and asked if they could test it out on me! Of course I said yes! The pictures were very clear and I even got some 3D pics. For those of you who have a hard time figuring out ultrasound pictures. This is of his face.

Before and After Triple D Challenge!

Ok, so according to my last post I said I was going to work on the Kitchen. Well that is a much larger task than my 32 weeks pregnant body could handle! So This last weeks challenge as to Triple D your craft area or office. As most of you know we live in a small 900 something Square foot apartment. So obviously there is not much room for separate areas. So my challenge was to clean and organize the Craft/Office/Dining Room! As you can see fom the picture this section tends to be our central clutter area. Also there is only one before picture because the desk that the computer is on is actually my Sewing machine! So of course this challenge was great because one of my goals was to take back my sewing machine table! Also I wanted to cover up all the wires hanging everywhere!



Here are the after pictures. I was able to get most of my Sewing Table back. Atleast enough to put my sewing machine back into it! The drawers are still taken up by office supplies but I'm ok with that. You can still see the cables and things but atleast they are somewhat organized. It's still a work in progress but I am happy with it for now.



My craft area is on the other wall now, in the same room but with it's own space.



I have 9 bins full of craft supplies! I have only allowed myself to have 2 bins out at the same time because of lack of space. We'll see how long that lasts!



I made the file box out of cereal boxes and scrapbook paper. It was really fun to do but when I was all finished I realized that I neglected to measure the width and regular paper is too wide to fit in it! Silly me! Oh well, I can use it for other things!



I made the Memory board from a cork board and ribbons. I didn't glue the ribbon down just incase I want to change it but I found some really cute lady bug push pins and they are holding the ribbon down. My spools of ribbon are on a dowel rod with ribbon glued to the ends and pinned to the board. Easy and removable.

So there it is! I am really excited to actually get to do som crafting becasue now I have a space! I can't wait to see what next weeks challenge is. If anyone wants to join me follow the link!

Triple D Challenge

There is this really great site called Somewhat Simple that gives you all sorts of challenges for you to do. Some are crafty others have to do with preparing food. The one I am going to do is called Triple D Challenge, Deep Clean, Declutter, Decorate! The first challenge is the kitchen, which is great cause I already did alot of the deep cleaning. I just need to declutter and decorate! If anyone else wants to do this just follow the link! Good luck. I will post pictures of before and after when I can. Baby Quilt!

So, I bought this adorable Jelly Roll from Missouri Star Quilt Co. in August and I am finally getting around to taking pictures of the finished top. Mom helped me figure out the design and then I sewed it together. When it is finished it will look so adorable! There was so much fabric left over that I am using it to make a car seat cover for him. I am so excited about it! Ava just had to be in the picture. I know, no pants. I can't seem to keep them on her!

Wow!

So, I have been really bad at staying current with our lives. I know how much you all really want to know about what has been going on with us! :)

Well, as most of you know we were going to move and then we weren't and then we were and now it is official. We are staying in Colorado in the same apartment for the next 6 months. Of course at the end of our lease we will definately be moving. 4 kids just won't fit very long in a two bedroom!

Morgan has been potty training for quite awhile but we have almost gotten him trained at night. Hopefully Derek will be trained before the baby comes and Ava, who is 19 months, is already showing signs of wanting to try so, keep your fingers crossed! I may end up with only one in diapers by next February! Yay! ( of course, I can dream right?)

I am hoping now that I don't have to move I can devote more time to blogging with pictures. That is one of my goals. It's easier than scrapbooking right now.

Before and After!
