We went to the Denver Zoo for my birthday! It was really fun. We took about 189 pictures and tons of video. There are over 3000 animals at the zoo. We weren't able to see all of them but we spent 5 hours there. Here are some of the pictures we took. Enjoy!

This is the beginning of our trek through the zoo. Everything imaginable is stuffed into the stroller!

Here we are at the polar bear exhibit and they had this giant cut out of the tallest polar bear along with a ruler! Morgan and Derek loved it. They kept trying to get in other people's pictures.

Here is Morgan checking out how his hand compares to a polar bears paw.
Derek was trying but he is still too short.

We stopped for lunch near the hoofed animals. Yum! Probably not the best place to stop if you have a sensitive nose!

This is the only Rhinoceros that can paint with a brush. There are some of his paintings hanging inside his building. They actually aren't that bad!

We took a ride on the Denver Zoo train. The boys loved it! The seats though were not meant for adults!

This is Monkey Island. An island in the middle of the zoo. No fence around just water. Apparently the monkeys won't cross the water! It was neat watching them jump through the trees. This was one of Morgan's favorite spots.

So here we are getting back in the truck. I was ready to go, Ava was just ready to get out of the front pack. The boys however were not ready to leave. Morgan didn't want me to "cheese" him. We had lots of fun and before we even left the parking lot they were all asleep! Success!

I hope you enjoyed our adventure. There are lots more pictures of the animals, but way too many to put up!

What a great day! Thank you so much for putting up so many pictures. I miss you guys!
I think my favorite picture is Derek smiling with a mouthful of sandwich!
Cute pictures, and it looks like you guys had a lot of fun!!
It looks like you guys had a lot of fun at the zoo. I like the pic of Ava wanting to play in the car afterwards. It reminds me of how Elliot was and well still is.
Belated happy birthday! It looks like you had a blast at the zoo! In August we went up to Omaha for a mini family vacation and went to the Omaha zoo. Nothing like experiencing it through the eyes of your children.
Thanks for commenting on my blog! You're the first person I know not in my family to read it! :D
