Garden of the Gods

We went to Colorado Springs to see the Garden of the Gods. We brought our bikes and planned to ride around and check out all the cool rock formations. It was really interesting to me how Phil forgot to mention how steep the hills were! I think we rode bikes for about half an hour and stopped. We did not take pictures of us riding, but we took other interesting pictures.

























This last picture we were sitting on a ledge about 5 feet off the ground coming out of the balancing rock. You can see a picture of the balncing rock in my archive photo's from June when Phil went by himself. We had lots of fun climbing around and checking things out. We tried to get pictures of a traveling VW bus tour. We even tried to chase them down driving through Manitou Springs but we lost them. They were all really neat. We received lotsof comments on how brave we were to be coming out with "all" our children, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
